Allied Universal in Stamford, CT is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Awareness). You will serve and safeguard residents and visitors, maintain a visible presence, and support community safety with professional customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to residential incidents in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential areas and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to residential incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
