Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol with two years of experience to cover San Leandro, CA. The role includes patrolling banking facility areas, monitoring access points, and delivering excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.

You will respond professionally to alarms and incidents while maintaining site policies and reporting all activity. Shift schedule is evenings through early morning.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout banking facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
