Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support in Lawnside, NJ. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while documenting observations and responding to site needs.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts across several days. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred, and a valid guard card/license is a plus.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, shipping zones, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe traffic per site requirements.
• Document patrols and incidents, and communicate information to leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and responding to site needs. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, building entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle, employee, visitor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
