Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time security associate in Mississippi to provide customer service at a food and beverage production location while enforcing site policies.

You will respond to incidents, conduct patrols, monitor access, and document activities, helping deter unauthorized activity and contribute to a safe environment. The role supports training and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies at production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, and access points.
• Monitor site access; verify visitor and contractor credentials; document activities.
• Observe and report security or safety concerns (doors, fences, spills, restricted areas).

Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Observe and report conditions that may impact operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, spills, or restricted-area concerns, in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
