Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Buffalo, NY. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and report per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and residence-related areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate with campus stakeholders and emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using technology as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, residence-related areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus stakeholders, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
