Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Ava, MO. You will provide exceptional customer service while patrolling assigned areas, maintaining logs, and supporting a welcoming, secure environment.

The role features Sat and Sun night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a $15.00/hour pay rate. The position requires at least a high school diploma, a background check, and compliance with license and drug-screen requirements where applicable.

• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and telecommunications facilities, offices, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Maintain a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity and welcome authorized visitors.

• Sat: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and telecommunications facilities, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity and supports a welcoming environment for authorized visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
