Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking an unarmed security officer for a part-time patrol at a financial institution. You will provide a visible deterrence, monitor access, conduct routine checks, and deliver courteous customer service while following site policies.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and CPR/First Aid credentials are preferred. Pay is $20.00 per hour; schedule includes DayTime Thur and Fri shifts.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver''s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, customers, visitors, and local responders while escalating security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
