Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Unarmed Overnight Patrol in Tucson, AZ. The role involves patrolling a manufacturing and industrial site, providing customer service, and ensuring security per site post orders.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $19.02 per hour. You will work Unarmed Overnight shifts in a 3-day rotation, and must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma. A Guard Card/license is preferred and background/drug checks apply.

Qualifications

• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
