Job summary

Allied Universal in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Surveillance Part-Time to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial environments. This role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to explore new shifts via our Claim a Shift platform.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer you will monitor access points, conduct patrols, provide customer service, and document incidents with clear reporting to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document the entry and exit of visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
