Allied Universal, a global leader in security services, seeks an unarmed Security Officer Overnight Driver in Lima, OH. You will patrol, monitor, and protect client locations, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring safety.

A valid drivers license is required; CPR and alarm panel experience are a plus. This full-time role offers weekly pay, medical and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Unarmed Overnight Driverin LIMA, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
