Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Bernville, PA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence and responding to incidents as needed.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 for unarmed roles, and pass a background check and drug screen as applicable. This is a full-time driving security role with scheduled evening shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:
  • A current and valid license without any restrictions that would impede the ability to perform job duties.
  • No significant traffic violations or driving offenses that could affect employment eligibility.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
