Job summary

Allied Universal in Yuma, AZ is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed - Mobile Driver to protect facilities and people at a food and beverage production and distribution site. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a calm presence, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors and drivers.

This role supports daytime shifts, requires a valid driver’s license, and includes reporting and incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Mobile Driver in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, employee and visitor access, or the protection of company property, equipment, and product.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
