Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) for a residential site in Delray Beach, FL. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, control access, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and entrances.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to incidents and follow emergency protocols.
• Prepare reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

As an unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with residents and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable of using computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
