Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and document entries/exits per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events calmly and professionally; notify authorities when needed.
• Prepare incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and document entries, exits, and required activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
