Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Culpeper, VA to provide dependable, flexible security at an assigned site. You can earn more by picking up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $19.15 per hour with a fixed shift plus opportunities to grow to a full schedule. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and drug screen where applicable.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Culpeper, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur08:00 PM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\") You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, documenting relevant observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and other security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
