As an Unarmed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a reliable, caring team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.76 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Support compliance with site rules and procedures while reporting observed hazards, equipment issues, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
