Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Madisonville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will drive designated routes, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate store personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, while reporting observed security-related concerns.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and other undesirable activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
