Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Decker Dr in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

• Mon 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Tue 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Wed 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, access-control concerns, and maintenance issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while supporting a professional environment at a chemical and petrochemical location.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
