Job summary

Allied Universal in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Customer Service Patrol. You will protect clients across healthcare locations, provide a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Bowling Green, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and maintaining awareness of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
