The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, state license where applicable, and a background check. You will work full-time with a consistent afternoon/evening schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Commercial in Stuart, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other assigned locations within a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing environment.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
