As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Activity Logging in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring, team-focused environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and promptly report maintenance, environmental, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
