    As a Security Officer - Unarmed Clinic Patrols in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

    As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity.

    Position Type: Part Time

    Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
    • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment within the healthcare location.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
    • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions, documenting findings as required by site protocols.
    • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
    • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
    • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
    • North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
    • Experience with customer service is preferred.
    • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, .
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
