Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Knightdale, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those in need. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working as part of a caring team that always acts with integrity and puts people first.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, following established protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
