Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Clearance Required in Malibu, CA. You will provide a protective presence, monitor healthcare locations, assist staff and visitors, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Responsibilities include performing routine patrols, verifying access credentials, documenting incidents, and maintaining a welcoming environment while upholding site procedures. Minimums include security experience and DoD Secret Clearance; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare-related buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site procedures.

Pay Rate: $26.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
