Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the West Palm Beach, FL area to monitor facilities, deter incidents and ensure safety for employees and visitors. You will perform patrols, monitor access and respond to alarms while upholding site procedures and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and vendors at a financial institution per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to ensure proper flow of authorized personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and document observations for site contacts or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports per Allied Universal and site requirements.

Job Schedule:

• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of authorized personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
