Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Response in Miami, FL to safeguard clients across Commercial Real Estate and other properties. You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and respond to alarms while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and property personnel by carrying out site procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of common areas, parking facilities, and perimeters; report concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner; notify emergency services when needed.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports and communicate with leadership and site management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Response in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, amenities, and other assigned areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
