Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify site leadership or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, yards, loading docks, and perimeter points.
• Control access through gates, doors, and entry points by verifying identification and monitoring truck arrivals/departures per site requirements.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and hand off details to oncoming shift/site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will observe and report unusual activity, support access control and truck traffic flow as needed, and deliver clear communication and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, yards, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access through gates, doors, and designated entry points by verifying identification, checking in visitors and contractors, and monitoring truck arrivals and departures per site requirements.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations and handoff details to the oncoming shift and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
