Job summary

Allied Universal in Seattle, WA is seeking a Security Officer TWIC Route Driver to serve clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver high levels of customer service while enforcing site policies.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay and a schedule spanning evenings and nights. You will work with a collaborative team, participate in safety procedures, and help deter security incidents

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories where permitted by law.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of retail and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or maintenance issues.

As a Driving Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.


• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and directions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
