Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, problem‑solving manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the retail location, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in line with site procedures.

As a driving Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $23.72 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sat06:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
