DSI Security Services is hiring a Lead Security Officer in San Antonio, TX. You will lead on-site Security Officers, manage shifts, and help maintain a safe environment for clients and the public while ensuring adherence to post orders and client expectations.

The role emphasizes leadership, attentiveness, and strong customer service. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour, with available first, second, and third shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior security experience is required.
• TWIC Card and valid driver’s license required.
• Able to conduct routine foot patrols in all weather conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to on-site Security Officers during assigned shifts.
• Assist with shift coverage, scheduling support, and daily operational needs.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Ensure officers follow post orders, client expectations, and DSI policies.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Communicate operational concerns to management promptly.
• Participate in training and comply with safety procedures.

As a Lead Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public while assisting with daily site operations and officer oversight. This role requires professionalism, leadership, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Pay Rate: $16.00/HR

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security experience required
• Prior lead, supervisory, military, law enforcement, or management experience preferred
• Valid TWIC Card required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation and means of communication
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
• Must meet all preemployment requirements
