Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America is hiring a Security Officer to protect client sites with vigilance and professionalism. The position requires monitoring access, logging visitors, and enforcing site rules to maintain safety.

Officers work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and must hold a TWIC card along with basic computer skills and strong customer service. This role offers competitive hourly pay and a range of benefits.

Security Officer

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Requirement: Valid TWIC

Available Schedules:

• Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the site
• Record and log all visitors entering the facility
• Operate entry points, including moving cones to allow access for visitors, employees, etc.
• Perform regular standing and walking throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Minimum of 2+ years of security experience required
• TWIC card required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain alert, professional, and responsive in a security environment

Job Requirements

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Security positions are full and part time
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Security positions require drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
