Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time TSA Issued TWIC Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves patrolling port facilities, guiding visitor interactions, and enforcing security procedures to protect clients and assets.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a TSA-issued TWIC, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. This is a full-time on-site role with growth and benefits opportunities through Allied Universal.

As a Security Officer Full Time TSA Issued TWIC Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government port location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and other stakeholders at a government port location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, access points, waterfront-adjacent areas, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to supervisors and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card/License, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
