Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer TWIC Credential Patrol in Richmond, VA for a Full Time night shift. You will serve clients, conduct patrols, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety and security across government and other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports to deter policy violations.

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or maritime personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, waterfront-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
