Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and logs, directing authorized personnel.
• Observe entry and exit activity, report unusual conditions, deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents calmly following escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeters.

As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

• Mon 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Tue 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Wed 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Thur 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Fri 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian entry and exit activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, the business location, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
