Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer TSA TWIC Patrol Driver in Houston, TX. You will provide customer service to personnel and visitors, perform site-specific security procedures, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork.

You will conduct patrols of facilities and access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and document shift details.

Qualifications

• Must possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Valid driver's license required per AU policy.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
