You will monitor entrances, verify badges, manage visitor flow, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Through visible presence, routine patrols, and clear communication, you will help reduce incidents and support staff and guests, living our agile, reliable, innovative culture with teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and directing guests, staff, contractors and/or deliveries according to site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control systems; report irregular activity, unsecured doors, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd flow, protecting exhibits and/or restricted areas, and supporting staff during medical and fire-related events as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
