Pay rate is $18.87 per hour with a flexible day/evening schedule (DayTime, Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned government offices and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, escalate unusual situations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government offices, public areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and escalating unusual situations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
