Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Incident Response in Burr Ridge, IL. You will protect a commercial real estate site, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

This role requires 18+ years for unarmed or 21+ for armed, a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening as part of employment. Expect night shifts and a team-focused, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in line with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor building access, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas and perimeters to identify issues.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $17.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor building access, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with established site procedures; maintain accurate logs and reports as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
