Job summary

Justice Cannabis is seeking a Lead Security Guard in Forest Park, IL. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers across facilities and operations.

You will oversee security operations, incident response, transportation oversight, and team support while working closely with leadership and operational teams. Flexibility to cover all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Law Enforcement and/or Public Safety experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and secure company facilities and access points.
• Monitor surveillance systems and investigate irregular activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Complete detailed incident reporting and documentation.
• Assist with secure transportation and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership, Human Resources, and local authorities when necessary.
• Train and mentor Security Officers on best practices and procedures.

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check under cannabis regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to support operational and scheduling needs as required
