Job summary

Justice Cannabis Co. is seeking a Lead Security Guard to oversee facility security, surveillance, incident response, and transportation oversight while coordinating with leadership and operations teams.

The role requires leadership, decisive thinking, and the ability to work all hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A strong background in security or law enforcement and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Law Enforcement and/or Public Safety experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check under cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and secure company facilities and access points.
• Monitor surveillance systems and investigate irregular activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Complete detailed incident reporting and documentation.
• Assist with secure transportation and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership, Human Resources, and local authorities when necessary.
• Train and mentor Security Officers on best practices and procedures.
• Help maintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented environment.
