Job summary

Koch Foods, Inc. in Anniston, AL is seeking a security-focused shift supervisor to oversee security officers, conduct patrols, and manage access control.

You will respond to incidents, monitor cameras, handle inbound packages, and coordinate with management. Excellent customer service and attention to safety are essential; manufacturing environment experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and clean background.
• Ability to pass state and federal background check and drug screening.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Military, security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security officers, shift operations, and scheduling.
• Perform security patrols.
• Check badges and IDs.
• Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage.
• Ensure unauthorized individuals do not enter premises.
• Prevent workplace violence and intervene when needed.
• Investigate and record accidents, suspicious activities, and hazards.
• Collaborate in training efforts for newly hired officers.
• Report all security incidents to management.
• Receive and transfer inbound calls.
• Receive and sign for FedEx and UPS packages.
• Release and weigh trucks.
• Monitor camera footage.
• All other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma required, with technical training preferred. No criminal record, with ability to pass state and federal background check and drug screening required. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Military, security and/or law enforcement experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• Frequently sit for long periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
