Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Part Time Site Protection in Port Isabel, TX. You will monitor a financial institution location, patrol interior and exterior areas, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies
• Respond to incidents calmly following site procedures and escalation protocols
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution location including interior and exterior areas
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization; report unusual activity
• Complete required activity reports and shift communications per site requirements

As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to concerns with integrity and care. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed - 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat - 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
