Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to support a Part-Time role at a financial institution location in Port Isabel, TX. You will monitor access, perform patrols, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a welcoming environment and a visible security presence.

The position offers flexible shifts via the Claim a Shift platform, with pay rate of $13.50 per hour. Candidates must meet age, education, and background check requirements; a valid driver’s license is required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state or locality.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises, access points, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor management.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur 05:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
