Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Site Observation in Moncks Corner, SC to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Criminal histories considered as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply in certain states/locals.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery driver check-in per site requirements.
• Report hazards, damaged property, or suspicious activity to site leadership or emergency services.

As a Security Officer Site Observation in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.07 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery driver check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Report hazardous conditions, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
