GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on customer service, verifying identities, and guiding visitors in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

The position offers a 40-hour week (Wed-Sun, 2pm-10:30pm) with benefits and uniform provided. Prior security experience and relevant BSIS licenses are a plus, and DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32hr BSIS trainings (can be obtained during hiring).

Responsibilities

• Welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Set Schedule

40 hours per week, Wednesday - Sunday, 2pm - 10:30pm, 2nd shift
