Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Service Patrol for a Full Time role in Goodyear, AZ. You will serve and safeguard clients at a data center, monitor areas, conduct patrols, and provide outstanding customer service while using computer or tablet systems for daily operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and a drug screen. Schedule includes daytime shifts with multiple daily shifts; wage is $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a data center location by carrying out security-related procedures and/or emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center facility and surrounding areas.

As a Security Officer - Service Patrol Full Time in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a data center location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations, communicate professionally, and work as part of a reliable team that acts with integrity and puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a data center location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate records of personnel, vendors, and deliveries entering or leaving the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center facility, grounds, perimeter, access areas, and critical infrastructure spaces to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and maintenance-related reports, and report observed hazards or policy concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
