Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Security Screening in Lake City, FL. You will monitor access points, screen individuals and belongings, and deliver courteous customer service while upholding site policies.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, a daytime schedule (Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun), and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Security Screening in Lake City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Screener, you will support a professional correctional location by monitoring access points, screening individuals and belongings, documenting activity, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while delivering respectful customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
