Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a responsible Security Officer for Full Time Security Screening in Fort Worth, TX. You will safeguard clients, screen people and items, and report security concerns while delivering professional customer service.

You will work night shifts, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and collaboration in a fast-paced distribution setting. Prior security or customer-service experience is preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Inspect packages, shipments, and personal belongings as directed by site policy, documenting and reporting prohibited items or irregularities.
• Monitor access points and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Full Time Security Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and/or items, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
