Allied Universal in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Security Officer with a DoD Secret Clearance to protect aerospace and defense facilities. You will monitor access points, patrol sites, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s integrity-driven culture.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $21.88 per hour. Scheduling may vary and requires background checks and licensing preferences.

Formación

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• State/local security license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Personnel Security in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine activities and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.88 / Hour

Job Schedule

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
