Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Clearance Protective Services in Saint Louis, MO, to protect clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will monitor areas, patrol, deter unauthorized activity, and deliver excellent customer service while following site protocols and escalation guidelines.

Minimum requirements include 1+ year security experience and an active DoD Secret clearance. A high school diploma is required; CPR/First Aid and a state security license are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Comfort with computer/tablet use (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• State/county/city security-related license (preferred).
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and employee credentials as required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and activities.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a professional and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
